What is an outlier? What does the mean represent in a data set?

Student's will be able to answer these two questions and will be able to find the outlier and mean when presented with different amounts of data.

Students will find the mean in 12 different task cards that will show data in pictographs, bar graphs, and more.

Includes a task card recording sheet with ample space for students to show their work. By having students show their work you will be able to identify where they need additional help and practice.

The answer key includes all the steps taken to get to each answer allowing you to easily see what students miss.

Data sets included will have between 4 to 6 numbers.
