This is quite an extraordinary sighting! Thanks to our friend who's a caster and had the courage to let us release this video.

A young guy walks along the entrance of a hospital, and we immediately notice that this is going to be an unusual sighting: both his forearms are in casts! The blue of the bandages stands out against his otherwise black clothing.

He approaches us and bums a cigarette. We, of course, help him out and give him one.

And now for the truly extraordinary part:

He tells us (in German) in detail the story of his injuries: in a bicycle accident with friends, he broke several bones in the metacarpals on both sides. One side can be treated with a cast, while the other side will be operated on today under local anesthesia.

We chat with him for a while, then he goes inside. We wish him a speedy recovery!

Even here, you don't see a conversation with a patient in a cast every day...
