LISTEN ON YOUR IPHONE
Choose one method below. The M4B is the complete audiobook in one file; the MP3 ZIP is an alternative. Downloading the M4B alone does not complete the Apple Books transfer.
Apple Books: sync from a Mac to your iPhone
You need a Mac, your iPhone, and a USB cable.
• On your Mac, open the download link in your purchase email. Download the file ending in .m4b and wait for it to finish.
• Open Books on your Mac. Choose File → Import, select the downloaded M4B, and click Import. Check that the book appears under Audiobooks.
• Connect your iPhone to the Mac with a USB cable. Unlock the iPhone and approve Trust This Computer if asked.
• Open Finder on the Mac and select your iPhone under Locations in the sidebar.
• Choose Audiobooks, then enable Sync audiobooks onto your iPhone. Choose Selected audiobooks and check Adventures of Bastard and M.E. Keep any other audiobooks you want on the phone selected.
• Click Apply, then Sync if needed. Wait for syncing to finish before disconnecting.
• On your iPhone, open Books → Library → Audiobooks and tap the book. Once transferred, it can play offline.
If you see Erase and Sync, stop: that can replace existing synced content. Use the computer you normally sync with, or choose the iPhone-only method below.
Simply saving the file in Files or iCloud Drive is not the same as importing it into your iPhone's Books library. If the title is missing in Finder, first check the Mac's Books → Audiobooks library.

No Mac? Download directly on iPhone with BookPlayer
• Install BookPlayer by Gianni Carlo from the App Store.
• In Safari on your iPhone, open the download link from your purchase email and download the .m4b file. Wait until the download completes.
• Find the file in Files → Browse → Downloads. Depending on your settings, Downloads may be inside iCloud Drive or On My iPhone. If it has a cloud icon, download it to the phone first.
• Open BookPlayer, choose Add files (+) → Import files, browse to Downloads, and select the M4B. Follow any prompt to add it to your library. Menu labels can vary by app version.
• Wait for import to finish, then tap the book in BookPlayer. This copy plays in BookPlayer, not Apple Books. Once imported locally, you can listen offline.

Listen now without transferring files
Open rentyourbrain.org/listen/sign-in (https://rentyourbrain.org/listen/sign-in) on your iPhone. Enter the email used at checkout, open the sign-in email on the same phone, and confirm sign-in. Then listen in the Transmission Room. Streaming requires an internet connection; no extra player app is needed.
Website progress and progress in Apple Books or BookPlayer are separate. If your purchase is not recognized, contact support@rentyourbrain.org (mailto:support@rentyourbrain.org) with your order number. Do not buy the book again.
