I really enjoyed reading The Onena series. Having moved to Paris few months before reading it, I was somehow lost in many instances, like transportation, places and other services, but after reading The Onena Series, it has really blessed me with extensive insight about Paris, which has also given me a different, positive perspective on my time in Paris. I also enjoyed reading the part about my beloved home country Namibia. As a Christian,married woman, and mom The Onena series has also helped me have a better understanding on marriage, foundation of a creating and building a godly family and even making it better. I truly enjoyed the whole book, as it also faith based, and gave guiding scriptures to various life events. Thank you so much The Onena Series.

I just read The Onena Series. 

Love how it’s easy to read and relatable and conversational. The first -3rd stories of relocating I identify with (am coming from home (Zimbabwe) as I type this on my way to Trier from the airport) … the transitioning from Friends (what use to be and what it is now).. what I like about both nations. I was encouraged to make the most with what God gave me and not look back with longing that might get me stuck like Lot‘s wife 

Loved your recommendation of books from people like Caroline Leaf (I love her ministry). 

I like that the whole book touches different areas of life… that each individual at some point does go through in one way or another. 

The story I had a tough time relating to was story 7 🙈 maybe cause am not yet a mother. But Love how God always comes through… and the use of scripture in every situation.

I loved reading The Onena Series! This book is a treasure trove of profound wisdom, heart-warming stories, and inspiring testimonies. I was hooked from start to finish. Each story imparts valuable life lessons, leaving you with practical wisdom that you can apply to your own life. By the time you turn the final page, you'll be brimming with inspiration and the aspiration to live life to the fullest!

Reading The Onena Series book helped me feel really connected to Onena as a character. She feels thoughtful and brave in a very human way, and I enjoyed watching her grow as she faced sooo many things that felt bigger than her. Her journey reminded me that it’s okay to be scared and still being strong enough to move forward, with faith. You can't not root for her. It’s a gentle, encouraging story that stays with you even way after you finish it. Kudos to the brilliant author!

 I have two favourite stories. My first one is "Onena's Epic Life." I truly enjoyed Onena's character, her perspective on the world, and how the author portrayed her story and challenges through the eyes of a child. 

I thoroughly enjoyed "12 Steps to a Healthy Marriage." This chapter provides practical, sound, and honest guidance on fostering a healthy marital relationship, complete with clear examples and actionable steps. It contains invaluable insights, including some wise and golden nuggets. I especially appreciated the emphasis on cultivating our relationship with God as the first step, accompanied by positive advice and relevant Bible verses. The content is so impactful that I hope it evolves into its own book in the future!

3 things I learnt:

- To continue to enlarge my faith - the book provided inspiring faith stories and testimonies, reminding me not to limit God. 

- I learnt more about a child's viewpoint on dealing with pain and gained insights on what France was like during the time Onena lived there.

- I also discovered more on how to cultivate a healthy marriage.

The book is a treasure trove of profound wisdom, heartwarming stories, and inspiring testimonies from everyday people across various life spheres. I particularly love the short story style too. The characters and stories feel exceptionally real, leaving you feeling encouraged to live life to the fullest. As a reader, you can't help but say to yourself, 'if these people could do it, so can you'.

I think you should read "Les Chroniques d'Onena" because,

firstly, it is such an original story. There is nothing out there like it. Secondly, "Les Chroniques d'Onena" imparts valuable life lessons in different spheres of life, leaving you with practical wisdom that you can apply to your own life. Upon turning the final page, you will be filled with inspiration and the desire to live life to the fullest.

The Onena series is so refreshing! I laughed and cried as I read about a young expat ( Onena) explaining everything she went through! From culture shock to culture gems, once I started reading, I could not put it down! And that was just the first story!! Thank you Twelimona PELMONT, I cannot wait to read your next books.
