Sirius

As you can probably tell from the fabrics this is not a recent make but was made using an assortment of scraps and leftovers from a quilt made for a small child who loved dogs. And, as I'm sure you know, Sirius is the other name for the Dog Star.
The quilt is just four blocks with a couple of borders and measures about 23 inches square so is ideal for use as a table topper or small wall-hanging. You could also use the blocks to make a runner - and matching table mats - as well.
It is very quick and easy to make and needs just half a dozen fat quarters. Some further ideas are given in the step-by-step illustrated pattern together with a blank quilt to colour in so you can design your own.
