THE 2026 ECLIPSE

On August 12, 2026, a Total Solar Eclipse occurred in Leo.

Leo is ruled by the Sun and is traditionally associated with identity,

self-expression, creativity, visibility, the heart, and the courage to be seen.

This eclipse brings the question of identity directly into the light:

Who am I when the version of myself I have known no longer fits?

This is why grief may appear here.

Not only grief for what has ended or changed—

but grief for an identity.

A role.

A future you expected.

A version of yourself you thought you would always be.

And there is something extraordinary about the image of a solar eclipse:

The Sun disappears from view.

But the Sun never leaves.

WHAT DISAPPEARED

WAS NOT YOU.

You do not need to become someone new.

You need to see what remained.

AUGUST 12 — AUGUST 28, 2026

The first eclipse has passed.

The second is approaching.

And right now, we are standing between them.

The person you were may no longer fit.

The person you are becoming may not yet have a name.

This is the world between worlds.

On August 28, a Partial Lunar Eclipse occurs in Pisces, opposite the Sun in Virgo.

Pisces carries the themes of emotion, intuition, surrender, compassion, dreams, endings, and release.

Virgo brings discernment, order, routines, analysis, work, and our desire to understand, organize, or fix what is happening.

Together, the Virgo–Pisces axis brings us to the meeting place between:

Holding and releasing.

Controlling and allowing.

Analyzing and feeling.

Knowing and surrendering to what cannot yet be known.

We do not need to experience August 28 before it arrives.

For now, there is only the space between.

The first eclipse asked:

WHO AM I WITHOUT THE SELF I CAN NO LONGER BE?

The next eclipse brings another question:

WHAT AM I STILL HOLDING BECAUSE I DON'T YET KNOW WHO I'LL BE WITHOUT IT?
