Pernicious Meteor

A meteor landed on Earth! Unlike any meteor anyone has ever seen, this one was glowing with a green gas-like substance leaking from it. The authorities contacted their top scientist to explore the strange rock, with everyone distracted and only the scientist at the scene, he was getting ready to take a sample when instantly the fluorescent green gas was absorbed into Dr.Parker skin, and the meteor dissolved into ash like it never existed. He reported back to the authorities that the rock dissolved, but failed to mention about how the gas absorbed into his skin, knowing they would put him into confinement to do an uncomfortable extensive exam.Back at the lab, he took a sample of his blood and noticed how rapidly the green molecules were eating away at his blood cells.
