Most of the ingredients you will need for this craft you will no doubt have in your stash; a small amount of scrap fabric, a needle and sewing thread and a pair of scissors.
In addition to this, you will also need a roll of 0.35mm craft wire which is available on-line or from most craft stores.
These simple and beautiful everlasting flowers can be used in so many ways. Join me in this video as I show you how to make fun and crafty wire flowers plus learn how I use them in and around my home and how I gift them to friends and family too.
Outside the storm raged. But inside, Stella and I were cosily ensconced with wire, fabric and tea.
Helen @whitewoodandlinen lives quite far away, so I’ve never been able to attend her live workshops, although they look amazing. It was very exciting when she released her first video workshop, so now we’re able to enjoy making with her, even from all the way in Yorkshire.
The wire and fabric flowers are such a delight! Helen’s video is beautifully presented, with every step clearly explained and demonstrated.
We enjoyed a very happy hour or so of gentle stitching. And of course, we’re both delighted with our finished flowers!
Helen made a few suggestions for other crafts one can do with leftover wire, but I’m going to make lots and lots of flowers! My fingers are itching to do more right now; it’s such a satisfying and joyful craft.
