Randefalk FlowPartner – Adjustable Brass Buzzing & Breathing Trainer

The FlowPartner by Randefalk Musik is a portable brass training and buzzing device designed to help develop airflow, breath control, stamina and register away from the instrument.

Used with your own mouthpiece, it allows you to practise buzzing with a more natural playing resistance. The rotating end section lets you adjust the resistance, making it useful for warm-ups, airflow exercises and building consistent support throughout different registers.

I find the FlowPartner particularly useful when travelling or on holiday when taking a full instrument isn’t practical. It’s also ideal for warming up in the car before a rehearsal or concert, letting you get the air moving and the lips working before you even walk into the bandroom.
