My Next Business

I hit the road bound for Ocala Florida. This would be my next adventure In what I felt was a defining moment In my life. I felt a sense of excitement, urgency, and determination. I did not want to squander the money I had made from selling the lawn business.  

I did a lot of thinking on that drive down to Ocala. I have always been this deep thinker. I have always been a reflector of the past, and also a forward thinker. I was looking forward to seeing Mom and Dad, and their new winter place. Ocala was the home of George Steinbrenner back in the day, The owner of the New York Yankees.

The mobile home my folks purchased was nice, cute, and comfortable. They seemed happy and were enjoying the winter Florida weather. I had my own little room and I settled in quickly. Dad showed me around the park. The park had a swimming pool, tennis courts, plenty of places to walk or go for a jog. That was perfect for me, as I needed time to think. I did my best thinking while jogging. The weather was beautiful, always sunshine and temps in the mid eighties.
