I ONCE TRIED TO SWALLOW LIVE FISHES

In November of 2016, I was hospitalized after a failed suicide attempt. During the approx. 10 days I was in a psychiatric hospital, I asked for printer paper and a golf pencil and wrote things that happened around me or about the people I did not want to forget. My handwriting was messy and quick, and my words didn’t exactly make sense when I said them out loud, but they were my thoughts.

These “pieces” are very personal and may contain heavy implications or direct mentions of suicide, mental illnesses, violence, self-harm, and childhood trauma (sexual), and more. Please read at your own discretion.
