This short book of polyrhythmic pad exercises is a great way to work on polyrhythms by playing implied polyrhythm accent patterns against a different pulse utilizing rudimental stickings. These will help increase your sense of rhythm and time by having a deeper understanding on how the polyrhythms should feel in your hands. 

Set the metronome to the time signature of the measure to make sure you are feeling the polyrhythm correctly as you perform each exercise. Tap your foot with the click as you practice to help feel the accented pulse over the original. Also try repeating measures with your hands while counting out loud in the accented pulse and switching to the quarter note pulse. 

Included in the 9 pages are exercises to develop polythms in: 3/2, 5/2, 7/2, 4/3, 5/3, 7/3, 8/3, 5/4, and 7/4. At the start of each section there is an example on how the polyrhythm should be subdivided.
