THE NAKED COVER-UP: STEPSIBLINGS IN DEEP WATER by Sienna Vale

A family vacation at an indoor water park was supposed to be simple. Maya only wanted to keep her distance from her stepbrother Ethan after a year of careful politeness under the same roof. One competitive game of beach-ball keep-away changes everything. A hard strike, a torn top, a careless bump from behind—and suddenly she is completely naked in the middle of the crowded pool, arms crossed, face burning, while curious eyes turn her way.

Ethan reaches her first. She throws herself against his back, every bare inch pressed to him, and he becomes her living shield. The walk to the changing cabanas is the longest of her life: water sliding over exposed skin, his body hard and protective, the unmistakable evidence of how affected he is pressing back against her. Inside the locked room, gratitude turns impulsive. Her hand finds him. One well-meant stroke later, control snaps. He has her against the cool tile before either of them fully processes her whispered “I didn’t mean this.”

What begins as pure survival and awkward repayment becomes something neither planned—raw, possessive, and impossible to forget. In the days that follow, every glance at dinner, every near-miss, every shared silence carries the weight of that cabana. When they finally return on purpose, the panic is gone. Only heat remains, slow and deliberate, along with the quiet knowledge that some lines, once crossed, refuse to be redrawn.

Light, sharp, and shamelessly hot, this is the story of a cover-up that uncovered everything.

Content warnings: step-sibling relationship, public near-exposure, explicit consensual sex.
