A course designed to prepare students for the F=ma exam, the qualifying examination for the USA Physics Olympiad.
This course prepares students to succeed on the F=ma exam, the first qualifying round for the US Physics Team. The course covers all topics in algebra-based classical mechanics tested on the exam, and is written by Eddie Chen, an IPhO Gold Medalist, F=ma perfect scorer, and MIT '25 Physics graduate. Students with no prior physics background are welcome, although it helps to have some experience in mechanics.
See the syllabus in the course information section of the course curriculum. For more about me, visit www.ezchen.org.
The course is self-paced, with a recommended timeline of 10 weeks. Each week corresponds to one unit, with the final week dedicated to review and exam tips.
Since this is a new course, I’m offering the first few students a heavy discount in exchange for honest feedback. Contact me at ezchen@alum.mit.edu. First come first serve!
