Painting The Queen Of Shadows

I created this portrait as a tribute to one of my favourite subjects: Vampirella.

For me, painting her is never just about copying a character. It is about stepping into her atmosphere—the darkness, the elegance, the danger, and that unmistakable sense of seductive power she carries so effortlessly. When I work on a piece like this, I feel completely absorbed by the mood of it all: the candlelight, the gothic setting, the dramatic contrasts, and the thrill of bringing a legendary fantasy woman to life through my own artistic vision.

What I love most is that this image also feels like a portrait of me as an artist. Focused, fascinated, and fully inside the world I am creating. Vampirella may be the subject on the canvas, but the real story here is the connection between artist and muse—the moment where my imagination, my style, and one of my favourite dark icons meet in a single piece.
