Butterfly Life Cycle Cut Paste Project

This activity is a great way to introduce children to the life cycle of a butterfly from an egg to adult! This project contains many fun activities to help children learn about the whole life cycle of a butterfly. Craft, 3-D pop up, matching definitions, and a word search are all included. Trust me they will not be bored with all these different projects.

The first activity:

*The first fun activity is for the kids to create their own flip book! We provide a finished template of a butterfly for kids to simply cut and assemble their very own butterfly life cycle that they can show off! Inside the flip book contains step by step of a butterfly life cycle along with basic information that they will learn as they assemble the project.

The second activity:

*This second activity contains our unique 3D pop-up feature which is an interactive learning method to help reinforce what the kids learned of each stage of the butterfly’s life cycle from the first activity. The 3D pop-up butterfly character will hold their attention and help them understand each stage more clearly as they progress along in matching their 3D pop-ups with the pre-labeled text of the stages.

The third activity:

*This part is the learning of the key basic definitions of the butterfly life cycle. In this activity the key sheet will be provided that includes definitions of each term. You will help the kids learn the definitions of each stage, they will then match each of the 3D pop-up definitions to the pre-labeled terms. This will help ensure that they truly understand each stage of the development.

The fourth activity:

* This last part of the activity is a fun word search. It is created to encourage the kids to become familiar with the spelling of the each key word in the butterfly life cycle.

*You can switch the sequence of the activities as you see fit for your teaching method.

For the life cycle of the butterfly you will need
