Hexagranny Blanket

The Hexagranny Blanket is a lap throw made up of giant hexagons and half hexagons. It uses a large hook and aran weight yarn to make this a fast and fun project; it’ll be flying of your hook in no time! The half hexagons help to create straight edges on either side of the blanket to make it easier to work the edging. Pick three or more shades of your favorite color or mix it up for endless color possibilities!

-Throw: 41”/104 cm wide by 55”/140 cm long
-Full Hexagon: 10”/25 cm from straight edge to straight edge; 11.5”/29 cm from point to point
-Half Hexagon: 6”/15 cm wide; 11.5/29 cm from point to point (longest edge)

-Caron One Pound (100% acrylic; 16 oz/453 grams, 812 yards/742 meters): 1 skein each in the following colors: Lilac (CC1), Purple (CC2), Deep Violet (CC3), and White (MC).
-Or similar size 4 medium heavy worsted/Aran weight yarn in MC, approximately 812 yards/742 meters and 3 contrasting colors, approximately 812 yards/742 meters each.
