Rothbury Rollneck

Rothbury is a great blank classic body to get creative with. Use a hero yarn; add your own creative flair, experiment with colour blocking, fairisle or intarsia pattern work.

The body has been designed with 4 inches of positive ease, however If you want a more roomy fit go up a size or two from your usual size.

We’ve graded this wardrobe essential to fit from a 30 inch chest up to a 50 inch chest, with options given for a bespoke
fit.
Ability: Beginner/Easy

You will need:
one pair 6mm (US 10), 7mm (US 10.5-11) straight needles and 9mm (US 13) circular or DPN’s for neckband
Tapestry needle for sewing up, Stitch holder and markers

Yarn approx. 7(8:8:8:9:10:10:10:11) skeins of Chunky BF

We used:
A range of classic natural shades from our BareFaced range, an 80% BFL wool and 20% Baby alpaca blend in chunky
(Bulky) weight. We used undyed Clotted Cream, Silver Birch Grey and Charcoal grey for our samples Jostorieknits.com


Tension:
12.5 sts x 17rows = 10 x 10cm (4”x 4”) measured over stocking stitch using 7mm (U.S 10.5-11) needles.
