Blue and Yellow Cowl (knitting pattern)

Finished measurements (the item washed, ironed, NOT blocked): length A – 36 cm, width B – 26 cm; width B – 30.5 cm, weight – 82 g.

Yarn: DROPS Nord (45% alpaca, 30% polyamide, 25% wool; 170 m/ 50 g).

Knitting needles: 3,00 mm (US 2.5) and 3,25 mm (US 3).

Gauge (colour pattern of the cowl worked flat, washed, ironed but NOT blocked): 10 cm = 28 sts, 10 cm = 24 r.

Further tools: tapestry needle, scissors, row counter and stitch markers (optional).

Required knowledge/ skills: stranded knitting, elastic cast-on, k, p, elastic cast-off, matress stitch (for seaming).

Suggestions:

• You can modify the length of the cowl by knitting more or less rows than suggested. Important: Follow the repeat!

• You can modify the width of the cowl by working more or less stitches than suggested. Important: Follow the repeat!
