FANTASIA is a piano album by Ayako Fujiki dedicated to the spirit of freedom within the classical tradition. The program brings together works by Schumann, Mendelssohn, Turina, Manuel de Falla, and Liszt, each exploring the idea of fantasia — music shaped by imagination, flexibility of form, and expressive independence.

Moving between improvisatory gestures and contrapuntal clarity, the album highlights a wide spectrum of pianistic language, from lyrical introspection to virtuosic intensity. Ayako Fujiki’s interpretation reflects her classical foundations and deep connection to the repertoire, shaped in particular by her Spanish training under Alicia de Larrocha, as well as by influences drawn from multiple musical eras.
