Thorns and Roses

Melissa was a beautiful young woman and an orphan, having lost her parents in a terrible accident. She was a leukemia patient, was on chemotherapy, and had a burden of responsibilities to bear. Her boyfriend, Pete, broke up with her as soon as he learnt of her diagnosis. Melissa's boss wanted an affair with her, before he would let her keep her 'just what the doctor ordered' job. She struggled through thorns and roses to survive, bear her sister’s responsibilities, and establish a perfect relationship.
