The purpose of a Positive Diary is to help you see all the things that are happening in your life, rather than just the negative, the challenging, the worrying and the threatening.  Use your Positive Diary daily so that you begin to notice, each and every day, the “positive” things that life has to offer. It might be noticing a white cloud in a blue sky, wind rippling through the leaves of a tree, a bird busily building a nest. Or it could be receiving a compliment from a friend, or at work.  Or someone may have asked how you were? Or you might have gone for a walk and noticed how you felt afterwards. And remember to look over your Positive Diary at the end of each and every day to remind yourself of the positive things you noticed. Notice, too, how this influenced your thoughts, your emotions, and your behaviours.
