"Thunder Road" Bolero

This bolero is inspired by the Thunder Road racing scene in Grease, perfect for a warm but breezy summer day or evening as a little something to cover your shoulders. Pair it with a halter top and capris for a bad girl look, a full skirted dress for a picnic, or a tiki playsuit! No 1950’s wardrobe was complete without a bolero! This little number is knit up in cotton, for comfort and breathability in warm weather.

The Thunder Road bolero is knit seamlessly from the top down.

2 (2, 2, 3) 3, 3, 3 skeins Willet by Quince & Co (100% Cleaner Cotton, 160 yards / 50 grams) OR approximately 185 (245, 285, 340) 395, 430, 460yards / 170 (225, 260, 310) 360, 395, 420 meters of sportweight yarn
suggested needles:
US 5/3.75mm 32” circular needle
