Infinite: Origins
The icy air was electric, charged with the anticipation of the encounter that lay ahead as Valkyrie and Leon moved through the Gen 0 Laboratory. Their coordinated split, each handling distinct components of their mission, was temporarily interrupted as they converged at the courtyard—a tactical decision that would quickly turn into a battle for survival.
The snow-covered expanse, which initially seemed innocuous beneath a serene dome of overcast sky, concealed perilous intent. The courtyard stretched, open and wide, the kind of space that offered little cover but promised swift retribution for any misstep. It was there, in the deceptive tranquility of white fields, that the T-X agents made their move.
Outnumbered but undaunted, Valkyrie and Leon's discovery of the T-X ambush unfolded with a sudden, jarring clarity. Dark figures emerged from behind drifts and distorted structures, weapons gleaming even in the muted light. The trap had been laid, the agents waiting for the perfect moment to snap it shut.
Gunfire erupted, the air cracking with the staccato rhythm of a dozen triggers squeezed in hailstorm frenzy. The snow leaped into the air, sending up clouds of white that twisted in the battle, momentarily blinding, quickly dissipating amid the chaos.
