We are thrilled to welcome Caroline Dama and Will Ruddick, both founders of Grassroots Economics.

Will Ruddick, founder of Grassroots Economics, and has pioneered Community Currency programs in Kenya since 2010. Currently, he's working together with the Red Cross on a new project to solve the lack of hard cash by deploying blockchain-based ''Local Currencies'' to smooth trade in communities and spur economic activity during this pandemic. Caroline Dama is co-founder of Grassroots Economics and provides the local perspective as a native Kenyan.

There are many people with ideas to use technology to help eleveate poverty, but in contrast to many others, Will and Caroline have actually already executed this and has been able to empower marginilzed communities by helping them manage their economic future.
