Gather and Sew Block of the month quilt

Gather and Sew is Lou's next block of the month quilt!

This BOM is the perfect way to kick off the new year. 

It's bright, it's happy and it has a carefully curated set of quilt blocks for you to develop (or show off) your patchwork skills. 

It is a modern sampler quilt featuring loads of the blocks you know and love (HSTs, Flying Geese, Curves etc) in a bold modern setting.

How will it work?

This sampler style quilt will be split out over 10 months of block making and 1 month of piecing the quilt top, starting with the first group of blocks in January.

On the first of each month, you will receive an email with a PDF download.

For the first 10 months the PDF will include supply, cutting and assembly instructions for the blocks in that month’s group.

On the 11th month you will get PDF download with instructions for joining and completing your quilt top. If you want to complete the whole quilt in a year, the last month is for quilting and binding!

Community and support

You can find general support videos showing you how to construct the blocks that will feature in this quilt on my You Tube channel.

Although there wont be ‘BOM specific’ videos, the written instructions will give you all the information you need to make the block and the You Tube videos are there if you need a bit more visual support.

You can also join my Facebook group, which is a great place to share your blocks, ask questions and meet other quilters. 

What happens next?

When you check out you will get a welcome pack.

This is a downloadable document with all the info you need before we start.

It includes important notes, supplies, block schedule colour keys and more!

Then on the 1st January you will get your first set of instructions emailed straight to you! (Please check out using an email address you have easy access to!)

This Block of the Month is open internationally and you can check out using your normal payment methods.

This is a digital product and the pattern will be delivered via email. No fabric or tools are included.
