Modern Tiles quilt pattern by Melanie of @mellmeyer.
Modern Tiles was inspired by two and three colored geometric tiles. But instead of laying out your whole "floor" on your own, with this pattern, you will receive a tile grouping in a nine-patch format that allows you to focus on block building while still keeping many color and layout options.
You will receive very detailed cutting charts and requirements for five quilt sizes each in three color scheme options. But you can easily make the quilt bigger or smaller by adding or subtracting blocks. This leaves you with many options for making the pattern your own.
Also included is a coloring sheet.

Intermediate | Pattern assumes that the quilter has basic piecing and quilting knowledge including the two techniques foundation paper piecing (FPP) and applique.
That being said, the FPP skills needed for the construction of the blocks are very basic. There are no sections to be connected and no tiny pieces. As the units are the same in all blocks, you could also use freezer paper piecing which is a subset of that technique. The detailed pre cutting makes the FPP a breeze for even beginners of this technique.
The applique shapes are easy and can be done in all kinds of methods including needle turn, reverse, starch, or raw edge applique. Choose whatever you prefer. You will need to trace your own templates according to your preferences and chosen applique technique

This pattern includes 6 foundation paper piecing (FPP) templates and 2 applique templates. The units finish at 6", making this a fast quilt with big 18" blocks.You will receive very detailed cutting charts and requirements for five quilt sizes each in three color scheme options. But you can easily make the quilt bigger or smaller by adding or subtracting blocks. This leaves you with many options for making the pattern your own.
Also included is a coloring sheet.
