Dragon Lovey PDF Pattern

The Dragon Lovey is a sweet little blanket doll. It would be a lovely gift for a newborn! And it is quick to make if you have a sewing machine and some basic sewing skills.

This pattern also includes options to make a winged dragon or a stegosaurus.

This is a downloadable PDF pattern. You'll receive two PDF files, the pattern and the instructions. The instructions are illustrated with photos and include step by step directions.

Suggested fabrics for the body include fleece, velour, minky, and recycled, felted sweaters. You'll also need some contrast fabric or felt for the back ridge and the wings. The head is lightly stuffed, but the body is left unstuffed so that it is like a little security blanket for baby.

The Dragon Lovey pattern includes the right to make and sell items from the pattern. Items should be handmade by the person who owns the pattern. If others are making items for you, each person should buy a copy of the pattern.

The finished dragon is about 12 inches tall, from the top of the head to the base of the body, and it is 14 inches wide from tail to toe.
