Fuzzy Foot Socks Bunny Addendum
We've been making Fuzzy Foot Socks for over 20 years now. We've experimented with colours, with different yarns, different needles, adding in eyelash yarns and mohairs, you name it! To help you get creative with your Fuzzy Foot Socks, we've put a few of our ideas into downloadable "addendums". Note, you'll need the original pattern to make sense of these addendums.
This addendum is for the "Bunny" version. Using our Fuzzy Foot Socks pattern, we embarked on a challenge to make kid’s size slippers. We made the needle size smaller, we reduced the base yarn to a single strand of a worsted weight, 100% wool and we added in a couple of strands of a mohair/silk blend for strength, durability, colour and softness. Oh, such soft fuzziness!
To make the smaller size, follow the instructions in the pattern using smaller needles and less yarn. Make the slippers the length of the foot that you intend to put them on and then knit the toe. (This provides the room required for shrinking.)
