This is a pdf crochet pattern written in UK crochet terms, the original pattern was published in issue 76 of Inside Crochet magazine. Introduction:
This blanket was inspired by a 1970’s vintage crochet blanket; the tiny three dimensional motifs are ideal “stashbusters” and result in a vibrant, colourful blanket that can be made in any size.
Skill Level: Intermediate, motifs are joined using the "as you go" method Size: Made as described this blanket measures 100cm x 150cm Although the size can easily be altered by adjusting the number of motifs made. Tension Exact tension is not critical to this project. Make the first motif and change hook size if you prefer a tighter or looser flower. Yarn: Rooster Almerino DK, (50% Baby Alpaca, 50% Merino Wool), 50g/113m/124yd, was used to make the photographed sample, you can also use oddments of DK yarn in many colours to create a stash busting project. Each motif uses approximately 5m of yarn.
