Blank Card - Trash Panda

The Trash Pandas, who feature in Lucky Color in the Lucky Break Series, operate on a simple principle. If it's edible, it belongs to them. If it's not edible, they'll check anyway.

First spotted on a security camera at The Daisy Chain, mama raccoon made her entrance the way she makes every entrance. Masked, unhurried, and holding someone else's lunch. She had three cubs with her. Of course she did.

Josh called them a nightmare. Daisy called them adorable. The raccoons didn't care either way, being too busy with their dumpster picnic to weigh in on the debate.

When eviction time came, no amount of yelling or arm waving got the job done. It took a lopsided cupcake. One whiff and the whole family marched up the boards and out of the dumpster without a moment's hesitation.

They finished their morning tea, scaled the oak tree, and left without a backward glance. Josh had one lasting observation. It's as if they think wearing a mask makes them impervious to danger. He wasn't wrong.
