Sticker Design Contest – Terms & Conditions


Eligibility

This contest is open to children aged nursery - primary 3 and primary 4 -primary 7 in the UK.


How to Enter

Artwork must be the child’s original work. One entry per child. Submissions must be received by 28th February 2026 to Newtongrange library or messaged to "Mo Newtongrange" on Facebook. submission sheets will be available from ???library ??? or alternatively message "Mo Newtongrange" for a digital version. artwork can be done digitally as well as physically.


Parental Consent

By submitting an entry, the parent or legal guardian confirms they have the authority to do so and grant consent for the artwork to be used as outlined below. you must sign the submission sheet to say you consent to your child taking part in this contest and all the other terms that go along with it outlined on this page, unsigned entries will not be added to be shortlisted. Please make sure to sign it.


Use of Artwork

By entering the contest, parents/carers grant "Mo and the Mining Village - children's books" a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, adapt, display, and distribute the artwork for purposes related to this project, including but not limited to:

Printing stickers

Inclusion in promotional materials

Online and social media display

Inclusion in related publications or displays

Copyright remains with the child.


Personal Data

please provide your email or contact telephone on your Childs submission letter as this is to inform you in the event that your child may have won.


Your Childs initials will be used on social media along with their sticker design if they are shortlisted. This is so you and your family and friends can easily recognise that that is your Childs work. No first names middle or last names will be put online. Just initial of first and surname.



Selection of Winners

Winning entries will be selected at the discretion of the author based on creativity and suitability for the project. The decision is final.


5 entreis will be shortlisted from each age group by an important person (nursery-p3 and then p4-p7). This shortlisted entries will then be displayed on Mo's Facebook page for a public vote.


Prizes

Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.


each winner (on from group nursery to p3 and one from group p4-p7) will receive a roll of stickers of their winning design on and the new signed story and activity book featuring Mo - "Mo and his new friends".



No Purchase Necessary

No purchase or payment is required to enter or win.


Right to Withdraw or Amend

The organiser reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or cancel the contest if circumstances require.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
