The Fox FPP Pattern

The Fox is a foundation paper piecing pattern (FPP) to make a quilt block that measures approximately 14"x18". It is an intermediate level pattern....but don't let that put you off! If you have done FPP before you can tackle this, it is just that some pieces (the eyes!) are tiny. It is all straight line sewing, no Y-seams! The pattern is 13 pages long and includes a colouring page, close-ups of the tiny sewing sections, exploded key to show how the sections fit together and the order in which to sew the sections together. No specific instructions on how to foundation paper piece are included, there are a lot of free tutorials available online. The block requires one fat quarter for the background, one fat quarter for the main fox colour, and for the rest scraps of brown, white, grey, black and textured yellow for the eyes.
