Little Toot Unit Study

Morning Basket Music is an elementary music curriculum for homeschool. It follows a unit study approach where each week begins with an engaging picture book, followed by daily lesson plans to practice various music skills.

This five-day unit is based on themes from the story, Little Toot, by Hardie Gramatky

Activities include:

📚 Read-aloud story with boat theme

✍️ Draw wave pictures to match vocal pitch

🎵 Practice rhythms including eighth, quarter, & half notes

🎤 Sing various ocean songs

🦻 Guided listening activity

🪇 Act out a story with sound effects
