AS FAR AS I have interwoven words of the transmitted text of my speech in this book, I only included them when I was spiritually certain that they still corresponded to the meaning of the original text, and where this was not the case, I looked for it in my words to do justice to the original meaning. 
Since I am only interpreting the old missive in this book, which is considered the "Gospel of St I had to say would often have given confirmation.

But whoever follows my words will easily find out for himself what is not adulterated in the other reports, just as he will soon discover the reasons for the old missive as well as the earlier reports, insertion and revision.
