How Do I Get Paid?
We will pay you monthly once you accumulate $10 or more within any monthly pay period. Even though our partners have their own schedules for sending royalties to us, we will still pay you monthly if you reach the $10 minimum.
When you select what distribution channel(s) you want to sell on, we will be able to provide you with your royalty amount for sales made on each channel.
What’s the Right Pricing for an Audiobook?
The short answer is, there is no “right” pricing to sell your audiobook. Whatever works best for you is the correct price, though there are some guidelines that distributors like Audible recommend. While we recommend $1.50 to $3.00 per hour, platforms like Audible suggest:
- Under 1 hour: $7 or less
- 1 - 3 hours: $7 - $10
- 3 - 5 hours: $10 - $20
- 5 - 10 hours: $15 - $25
- 10 - 20 hours: $20 - $30
- 20+ hours: $25 - $30
What is the Best Way to Sell Audiobooks?
Each retailer, platform, and channel have their own criteria for approval, meaning that it can take as few as 5 days or as many as 60 days to sell audiobooks on any one platform.
How long does it take to get approved on platforms?
We believe selling to a wide distribution network with no exclusivity is key. Therefore, distributing your audiobook to all retailers, including music channels, libraries, and more, offers the most advantages and potential for growth. Before you sell your audiobook, you can choose which channels are right for your distribution plan. If you don’t want to sell audiobooks to a specific group, please let us know during your consultation call.
If I Sell Audiobooks Through Audible, Can I Sell to Other Partners?
If you have a non-exclusive agreement set in place with Audible, you are free to sell audiobooks to our other partners. We will make sure not to submit to “Amazon/Audible”. If you do have an exclusivity agreement with Audible, you will need to contact them and request that your audiobook be distributed under a non-exclusive agreement. However, please note that this could affect your royalties with Audible.
Can I get a refund?
No. All sales are final.
