The supplied strategy generates the thread using simultaneous X, Y and Z movement, with the helix calculated directly from the programmed pitch.

Axial movement produced for one complete 360° revolution.


ROUGH PASS RADIAL SIZE

Controls the maximum radial material removed during each roughing pass.


FINAL PASS RADIAL SIZE

Defines the material reserved for the final finishing pass.


SPINDLE RPM

Programmed cutter spindle speed.


Z FEED

Feed used when positioning to thread depth.


THREAD FEED

Feed used during the thread-milling operation.


CENTER X / CENTER Y

Defines the exact center position of the thread.
