Elowen Shawl
I love a simple feather and fan pattern and the scalloped edge it produces. Paired with garter stitch and this lovely silk/wool blend, a rather elegant shawl was born with a number of ways to wear it. Beginning at the bottom edge, the fan pattern is worked, followed by a Cornish ‘flag’ within each pattern repeat. The top of the shawl is gently shaped using short rows and decreases.
