In The Big City - Elementary Piano Solo

Here's another piece for a student. She likes improvising and composing with ostinato patterns and minimalism-type stuff, so I included repeating broken 3rds throughout the piece. She also asked for the hustle and bustle of downtown, so I tried to express that through honking horns and other sudden accented sounds caused by delivery trucks, subway, police whistles, etc. I wrote it in 5/4 because she wanted more of a challenge than in previous pieces and I mixed in a little Mixolydian and Aeolian into the melody.
