Born and raised in Scotland, Fiona Templeton co-founded London's Theatre of Mistakes in the 1970s, and lived for many years in the East Village of Manhattan.


Green Integer published her play about the French sculptor Camille Claudel, Delirium of Interpretations.


Her poetry has appeared in Partisan ReviewSun & MoonZoneMusics, and Wallpaper.


Her performance-art works Thought/DeathAgainst AgreementDefenseThe 7 Deadly JealousiesYou-The City, and Experiments in the Destruction of Time appeared at the Whitney Museum of Art, the Red Bar, Art on the Beach, the Performing Garage, Franklin Furnace, and elsewhere. She co-wrote Elements of Performance Art with Anthony Howell. In 1983 she was awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for performance.


In 2000, she founded The Relationship, a performance-art group based in both New York and London.
