The Bag Makers Journal is a notebook specifically designed for bag makers. For years I have wanted to document projects. Somewhere to keep all the notes, changes, fabric homie and social channel information safe.

This journal is the journal I always wanted. It’s been designed with spaces for notes that only bag makers will understand!

Clip fabric swatched to the stash section, keep on top of your stash and what it’s been used on and design your next bag on the blank pages at the back.

For a quick video tour of the journal please head here: https://youtube.com/shorts/7euXPFELQiU?feature=share

Contents:

Project Pages – Make notes on each project, detailing where you got the fabric and notions from and note which you need to buy and which you have.

There’s spaces for hacks and changes, sketches and notes.

Mark down what hardware colour you used, your stitch length and which needle size too.

There’s a space for # and notes on the pattern you used too!

Fabric Stash – Clip a sample of each fabric to the side and note where you bought it, when you boutht it and how much you bought. Once some has been used, you can note how much is left too!

Facebook Groups – Note the name, the admins and why you joined plus any rules!

Facebook Pages, Instagram Accounts and Youtube Channels – So useful to remember these! Perhaps you followed them as you liked something specific about them or you have a favourite pattern or make of theirs? Note it down in these sections.

Notes – Space for sketches and other notes on the included plain and dotted paper at the back.

(Please note that your spiral could be silver or white and will be picked at random unless you request on check out).

100 pages.

A5 in size, it measures 15cm wide x 21cm high

(5 3/4″ x 8 1/4″)

With a spiral bound edge, there is space for the notebook to open flat and to fit in your fabric swatches (bound books won’t allow this as easily).

Designed by Studio 7t7 and printed in the UK on quality silky paper.
