Laurie Lee has been a senior leader in social impact for 20 years.

He was Foreign Policy Adviser to Prime Minister Tony Blair on Africa and emerging economies.  He led policy and negotiations for the 2005 Gleneagles G8 Summit, and was a UK diplomat in South Africa, Brussels & Afghanistan.  He was Head of International Trade in the Department for International Development.

Laurie was head of Africa for Gates Foundation. building policy and advocacy capacity. He was CEO of CARE International UK for eight years, and campaigned tirelessly for gender equality, and had impact partnerships with ten FTSE 100 companies
