ASTI
Asti is a playful bandana-style cowl that brings warmth and color to your everyday wardrobe. Worked in fingering weight yarn, it features mosaic knitting with a twist - an easy, approachable technique I call Intarsia Light. The result is a striking accessory that feels both modern and timeless. With endless color possibilities, Asti invites you to create a piece that reflects your own style and pairs beautifully with any outfit.
CONSTRUCTION
Asti is a generously sized, asymmetrical cowl worked flat on the bias and finished with a small seam at the back of the neck.
It features a technique I call Intarsia Light. On RS rows, you’ll begin with Color 1 to work the inner triangle, then switch to Color 2 for the mosaic section. On the following WS row, you’ll start with Color 2 for the mosaic and switch to Color 1 for the triangle. These two-color rows are followed by two rows worked entirely in Color 3.
The technique is simple to execute and fully explained in the pattern - no need to be intimidated!
