Creating Clear, Confident Communicators
Whether you're someone who feels nervous at the thought of speaking in front of others or are just looking to refine your existing skills, this course will give you or your student the tools to communicate with clarity, confidence, and impact. Public speaking is not just about standing in front of an audience. It's about understanding people, organizing ideas, and delivering messages that resonate and connect.
Throughout this course, you will build a strong foundation in the core elements of effective speaking. You'll learn how to overcome fear and manage anxiety, analyze and adapt to different audiences, and structure your ideas in a clear and compelling way. We'll focus on developing credibility through research, using body language to enhance your presence, and crafting persuasive presentations that move audiences to think and act. In addition, you'll practice thinking on your feet through impromptu speaking, an essential skill for real-world communication.
This course can be used to supplement high-school or middle-school classes, or as a high-school credit course for homeschool families!
Each module is accompanied by speech writing exercises, worksheets, speaking practice exercises, video explanations, video examples, and more!
