Inspired by one of my favorite elegant styles of the 1950s, this turban is knit seamlessly with all over bobbles and ties long enough to tie in a bow or a knot. Inspired by the sassy Pink Lady from Grease, and the perfect accompaniment to the “Frenchy” Blouse, this turban will cover your curlers or hair in a snap. Or, just wear it for the chic fashion statement that it is!
CONSTRUCTION
The “Frenchy” Turban is worked completely seamlessly! Pattern includes both written and charted instructions.
MATERIALS
1 skein Tosh Merino Light by Madelinetosh (100% merino wool; 420 yards/385 meters) OR approximately 300 yards/275 meters of fingering weight yarn
US 3 / 3.25 mm 16” circular needle & 32” for magic loop or DPNs; +1 extra needle for 3 needle bind off (or size needed to obtain gauge)
US 2 / 2.75 mm needles for working flat
notions: locking stitch markers, tapestry needle, row counter (recommended)
