Wave Ripple
Wave Ripple (VST3, CLAP, AUv2)
Wave Ripple is a MIDI arpeggiator built around a per-note, phase-based ripple model for generating tempo-synced octave motion from held notes.
Unlike a conventional arpeggiator, it does not treat a chord as one fixed repeating list. Each note has its own parameter set: rate, octave range, gate, velocity, wave frequency, and wave amount. This makes it possible for a single held chord to split into several related rhythmic systems, producing denser, more complex, and more experimental MIDI combinations.
The interface visualizes this behavior as bouncing points on a responsive wave. The display reflects active notes, rhythmic cycles, and motion changes while the outgoing MIDI drives your synth, sampler, drum instrument, or other MIDI device. Use the random button in the upper-right corner to quickly generate more chaotic parameter relationships and discover patterns that would be slow to program manually.
Use it when you want pulsing synth lines, animated chord tones, octave-based melodic repeats, rhythmic bass figures, or controlled pattern variation without drawing every note by hand.
