Montserrat is a mountainous massif in Catalonia, located astride the counties of Bages, Anoia and Baix Llobregat. It is quite prominent and has a prominent role in the Catalan tradition, among other reasons thanks to its own very characteristic geology and topography that have been aesthetically valued positively. The monastery of Montserrat stands there, a Benedictine abbey dedicated to the Mother of God of Montserrat: a godmother found, and also popularly known as "la Moreneta". There is also the Monastery of Sant Benet de Montserrat, which is made up of Benedictine nuns.
