Her Rights
Women’s Rights in Islam
...were written even before she was born
I grew up listening to it too.
That we, Muslim women, have no rights.
That we are considered lesser.
It's normalized on social media, in the news, even from Muslims themselves.
And for a while, it made me question my own religion.
But when Allah blessed me with the ability to search and understand Islam for myself,
I found out it was completely untrue.
Muslim women were never oppressed by Islam.
We were made to believe we were.
That is why I created this guide.
This is for the Muslimah who wants to know what Islam actually gave her, not what world decided.
Every reflection in this guide comes from authentic Quran verses and authentic Hadith.
This guide covers:
• Life before Islam for women
• Life after the Prophet ﷺ
• The right to live
• The right to education
• The right to marry
• The right to divorce
• The right to own property
• The right to work, financial support and more
