We are raising funds to support the initial establishment and organisation of the Mbari Prize - with a book donated from Dele's Administrative Library from the Dele Meji period. The book is a copy of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's influential essay "We Should All Be Feminists" - gifted to the writer by Emma Dabiri, following a discussion as part of the African Development Forum held at the School of Oriental and African Studies, and organised in that year, in part by Kiran Yoliswa, co-founder of the now defunct yet influential blog, Styled by Africa. The copy is unsigned by any party mentioned. This edition is published by Fourth Estate; the names of all who donate to our target fund will be entered into the prize draw to be the custodian of the book, alongside a few other items of Adichieana. (Please note you are not buying the book - but entry into a prize draw for this very, particular, copy - and participating in a fun social activity with a serious artistic aim in mind)
