This book contains sheet music of authentic Romanian accordion music, as well as biographies of the accordionists who composed and played them (texts are in Serbian). The order of the compositions in the book follows the development of the Romanian accordion style over time, as ornamentation and playing technique developed and improved. In order to properly interpret the melodies impressively played by Vasile Pandelescu, we would first have to learn the technical details from the melodies of his predecessors, which are equally beautiful and interesting to play. Romanian melos is very popular all over the world, so every advanced accordion player should have compositions from this book in his repertoire. All melodies are precisely and accurately notated, with detailed ornamentation and fingerings for the piano accordion. The bass side of the accordion is also notated.
